My sister Erin and I went hiking up Millcreek Canyon on Saturday morning. We went up a trail to a place called Dog Lake. The hike was about 6.5 miles, and I was so proud of myself for completing it. It was so beautiful! The wildflowers were in bloom and the trail smelled of pine. I thoroughly enjoyed my morning, and it reminded me why I'm so happy to live in such a beautiful state with incredible wilderness opportunities. The only downfall of the day was that I tripped and fell and skinned my leg. I guess I had to have some battlescars. Erin and I both forgot our cameras, but I found this picture online.
